We are proud to announce that our 2018 flagship charity is the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas. "The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas (RMHC CTX) is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and families."

"Helping a sick child fight their illness takes a big enough emotional toll on a family. Adding a financial strain can make it all almost too much to bear. RMHC CTX can help address those problems, whether they involve providing housing that’s near a hospitalized child, the expense of staying together in another city, providing a place to rest within the hospital, offering a complimentary treat while families wait by their child’s bedside, or helping families who have lost a child."

During the month of April you may see our Bucket Brigade taking place in West Lake Hills, Rollingwood, and Travis County. If you see our firefighters out there, please, give whatever change you can - every penny helps!

When you donate through the WPFFA Bucket Brigade, 80% will go to the flagship charity, 15% goes to other charitable causes voted on by the WPFFA members throughout the year and 5% goes towards operational costs. No one receives any compensation for participating in the Bucket Brigade.
